Right here at home there are many ways YOU can support Nonviolent Peaceforce's work...
Create a local peace group in your area: Local groups can act as ambassadors for NP hosting presentations and events about Nonviolent Peaceforce and the area's in which it is working. Additionally you can host dinner parties and events at which you can talk about both the work on Nonviolent Peaceforce and the issues with which its peace teams are dealing with. If you are interested in forming such a group please get in touch with us and we will provide you with event ideas and start-up materials.

Join the NP Emergency Response Network: The Emergency Response Network of Nonviolent Peaceforce (ERN) is intended to serve as a ‘safety net' of nonviolent intervention by a larger public in case pressure on governments or other powerholders is needed. For the safety of our teams, and the safety of the people they are working with, we are prepared to solicit a quick public international reaction in case they are threatened. The Emergency Response Network currently has around 300 members. But we need more people who are willing to act in case of such emergencies.
